After the Wharf we went to Carpinteria Beach.
The kids fascinated by tire spikes.
So, we should park somewhere else?

Tar on the beach. I first though it was leaking oil from the offshore oil rigs but it turns out that the Santa Barbara area is known for natural oil seeps in the ocean.
We ended the day with strawberries and whip cream.
