Nathaniel's 4 Birthday

Nathaniel celebrated his 4th Birthday last weekend. Being the party guy that he is he invited all his friends ages 4 to 45.

We played musical chairs and egg-an-spoon race.

Naomi gladly helped guide Tim.

Then we had a cupcake eating contest. The men first showed the kids how it was done.

Alan and Joey.

Chad thought he won until I told him he had to swallow first. In the end it was Pete who was the winner. He fit the entire cupcake in his mouth!

Then it was the kids turn. Some needed help holding their hands behind their backs.

This is all the messier they got! I was really hoping there would be some really messy faces. They disappointed me.

Time to blow out the candles!

Nathaniel is one lucky boy to have so many good friends to celebrate his birthday with.

Sledding

At last we received snow! We called the "G's" our friends down the street and invited them over for sledding. I may have gone a bit overboard by taking out a table and the burn barrel but everyone stayed warm with the fire and hot chocolate close at hand. We had a ton of fun and can't wait to do it again!

Nathaniel getting a free ride up the hill from Matthew. I'd kicked him off and made him walk!

Mika joined us and had a good time chasing sleds and exploring the woods behind us.

Glory, Tim and Nora.

Gingerbread Houses 2010

Decorating Gingerbread house with the Sipps has become an annual tradition around our house. This year we decided to include the boys. The boy on the far left is a kid that Sandy babysits.

Nathaniel believes that more candy is better.

Timmy in full scale "Tim pout" over my rule of "no eating the house toppings".

After the boys went down for naps the girls got their turns. They worked for 2 hours on their creations.

Hard at work.

Now we can't wait to do them again next year!
