After the Museum of American History we were worn out! When Maria asked what I wanted to do I told her I wanted to experience the real DC outside of the Mall, the museums and the monuments. That idea dovetailed real well everyone's need for rest. So we hoped on the Metro, DC's subway system.
It was my boys first time on a subway of any kind.
At Maria's mom's place everyone knoncked out, that is expect for me. I went to Target to pick up a few things.
Check it out! Target was squeezed into a building that it shared with several other retailers. Target took up two floors and so to get your cart up and down you put it on it's only escalator!
