We got up early and headed out in hopes of beating the tourist crowd and it worked. Buckingham Palace is just a 10 walk from our hotel and so we thought we would walk pasted it on our way to the Tower of London. There were no tourists out but there were a lot of commuters on their way to work. Buckingham Palace really isn't all it's cracked up to be unless something is happening, like the changing of the guard. Something we have chosen to not do on this visit. I hear it gets really crowded and I HATE crowds. Maybe next time when half the world isn't in town.
