The Newmans took us tubing on the James River. This was a complete novelty to us Baker's who are not used to large rivers that are slow moving enough to relax on.
Nora and Oliva were in charge of airing up 12 tubes.

Once we got in the current quickly separated us as we went over some mild rapids. After a little bit we all managed to get back together and tie on to each other's tubes.

The kids started a contest to see who could stand up the longest. Nora and Olivia swam at several times when the current was moving slowly.
