Now that we own a larger yard and have a barn we have upped the boy's egg business.
This summer we had roughly 50-60 chickens. We joined forces with my Aunt Shirley and Uncle Gary and started selling eggs at the local Farmer's Market every other weekend. They have been selling their grass fed beef there for several years.
The boys labeling cartons.
There were some legalities and hoops to jump through. The state requires the eggs be washed, stored and packaged per their instructions.

We had to purchase a fridge for egg storage and keep it in the garage.
Our booth.
We sold out almost every Saturday and have big plans to do it again next year.
