My dad has two kittens that the kids are just in love with. Butterscotch is the orange and white male and Dot is the calico female. Dot was named after our neighbor's cat Dot that died a while back. After talking to our neighbors we discovered that Dot is the grandmother of the new Dot and Butterscotch. We borrow the kittens on occasion when we have friends over. This is what I saw one day when I looked out the window...

The kittens are about 8 weeks old and we don't like to keep them too long from their mother. So inevitably Nora has to take them back to Pappy's house. When they were smaller it was easy to carry them one in each hand but now they have such sharp claws and wiggle so much that the best way to transport them is by bucket. Watching Nora carrying them home is like watching one of those fair games where you use an oversize hammer to pound down the things that keep popping up. One kitten would pop up on one side of the bucket and Nora would push them down, then the other one would pop up on the other side. This went on and on making it hard for Nora to take them home. It was quite comical!
