Lately I have been telling Chad that if he had not married me his evenings and weekends would be much more peaceful. In other words he wouldn't have me to provide him with so many projects around the house. Here are some recently completed projects.
I have been asking for this bookcase for Christmas or birthday since we moved into the house. Chad started it last Thanksgiving and as all projects go, it took much longer than anyone thought. It still needs the electrical completed (that would be the yellow wires in the corners), but hey, we are calling it done.
The Sandbox.I was going to do this job with some help from a friend but when things changed Chad stepped in and did it for me. I'm glad he did because I never could have done such a good job! I wish I had taken a pic before we filled it with sand. It would be easier to see how well crafted it is.

Yes, he is crying. Being the kind, compassionate mom that I am, I made him wait a minute till I had a picture taken before digging him out.
Wow! Those bookshelves turned out beautifully! The sandbox is pretty incredible, too. And poor little guy buried alive in the sand... :-)
